Hi guys…I’ve been a little m.i.a. lately and i totally apologize! You know I’m readily available on twitter and facebook but i haven’t been on cam much this week but don’t worry, its all for a good cause. Last year, my new years resolution was to participate in or at least get in the shape to compete in a figure competition. While this year has flown by, watching the 2010 Mr. Olympia has totally reminded me of what i had wanted so bad-Phil Heath! No, just kidding, i love philknowsbest.com, but i was reminded that i wanted to compete so bad! Training other people, and dealing with my own personal life has easily side tracked me…but not for long!

I think now is the perfect time to focus on myself. It’s so weird because I’m such a shy girl-i know you’re all sitting there like, uuuhhh-huh sure…but it’s true! My job title doesn’t mean that im full of myself or that i think im the awesomest at life-im quite the nervous nelly…its been like that since i was little, i cant help it!

A little over a year ago, I was doing such a great job in the gym with my own body, I quit smoking, drinking, started eating great, gaining strength and endurance (which might i add, i never had once in my life as a young kid…i was not into sports at school-i was a “hang out with friends and go to the mall” girl)anywayz, i totally changed my life from what i use to do as far as hanging out with the wrong people, and doing the wrong things to myself, physically and mentally. I started working with other people and training friends and family and then a friend told me the lingerie football league was holding tryouts, so totally out of character, i went to the tryouts…you could tell i had no idea what i was doing compared to these other girls…but, i tried…and i made it! I practiced for 5 hours every Saturday, all summer long and right before the season was about to start, they made one final cut involving about 3 girls…i got booted! i was sad for a little bit, just because i never worked harder for anything in my life and i was never in so much pain in my life from our practices on turf.. haha

But moral of the story is, i made it in and trained with almost all of the girls who are playing on the team now…and it was all because i went and did something out of my comfort zone…so here we go …part 2…danni is going on stage!

Its 4 days in, and i want to punch myself in the face, lol…it will pass, i already know how all this stuff goes…but please stop by and keep pushing me forward!
